First emerging in Detroit, Michigan, USA during the mid to late 1980s was the progression of house into the synthesised sounds of future technology. Pioneers like Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson to name a few took the reins of this sound and directed it through to dancefloors the world over... Techno has fast become the chosen genre for those looking for that bit extra, the sound of technology and the future.
